About the Role
A rare opportunity exists for an exceptional Service Manager to lead and support a talented service team at our Truck Centre in Wimmera. We are seeking a hands-on leader who will mentor and motivate the service team to continuously deliver the very best customer service levels.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Driving industry benchmarks for customer service through quality, communication and efficiency
- Driving quality effective processes and ensuring manufacturer quality standards are adhered to in the maintenance and repair of all vehicles
- Regularly reviewing and analysing the utilisation of capacity in the service department
- Overseeing the prompt invoicing of all completed jobs in the service department
- Developing and maintaining manufacturer relationships
Skills & Experience
- Mechanical Experience
- Previous service management experience in Truck Service or related business such as passenger cars, commercial vehicles, agricultural equipment, materials handling
- Proven people management experience including hiring, mentoring, training and performance management
- Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate effective dialogue with all stakeholders including customers, staff, business partners, suppliers
- Proven financial and business acumen with a high level of computer skills and general technology know how
